Change color and shape in project hierarchies
Jan Kuntscher
Hi Mahmoud,
It is our goal that the colors should make it clear to the users at which SAFe level they are currently.
If different colors were allowed on one level, then the goal would be clearly missed.
We plan that the colors can no longer be changed by customers, so that regardless of the customer, it is always clear that green, for example, is the team level. This is then reflected in the documentation, in videos, on the website and other content.
I can imagine that our new, soon-to-be-released menu within Agile Hive Views could help a lot to switch to the ARTs that work together in a solution train.
Can you explain to us again why you would like to change the color for a certain strand in the hierarchy?
@Russ Thank you for your questions. I had the same ones for Mahmoud :-)

Mahmoud Shabanzadeh Did you not get the option to change the color for the levels when you setup the master project hierarchy in the admin section? We were able to do that as far back as v3.15. We internally used slightly different colors than the defaults with Agile Hive.
As to the avatar or icon, are you suggesting that each level in the hierarchy have a different icon, or for each project? I like the idea of having a unique icon to delineate which level, in addition to the color.
For the individual projects, you should be able to change the avatar for each project, but if you do, you may have to clear your browser cache for Agile Hive to pick up the new project avatar.

Russell Smith: We want to change the color of each solution art (each project in same level especially in portfolio and solution) in hierarchy page (in manage app section in administration page).
